Breaking Free: Release and Restore
 It is beautiful what Jesus has done for you. So very long ago, when Moses was about to die, he said God would send another deliverer. Jesus is that deliverer. He says this of his mission: "I came to give you good news; I came to release you from bondages; I came to heal you; and I came to set you free. What is it that holds you back? What is it that keeps you from walking in the full life that God has for you? What is it that you need to be delivered from? You want a great life; Jesus is the one that helps you to break free into that life. Come and see how He can and will deliver you.

Not Theory, But Truth; Not Ideas, But Love G. K. Chesterton wrote about Francis of Assisi and his power to draw people and animals to himself. He wrote, "As St. Francis did not love humanity but men, so he did not love Christianity but Christ." When Jesus spoke, he challenged those around him in the same way. "You know the Word of God so well, but you don't have the life of God in you." J. Eldredge said, "Listen, you can honor him, respect him, insist that others do and never actually love Jesus. This is not what he wanted." Jesus invites you into a relationship where his love for you changes everything, and more so as you respond in love to him. |
